From March to May 2024, Jacksonville metro area experienced the highest YoY increase in New Listings Count among the top 15 metro areas, with a substantial rise of 21.6% compared to the same period last year, resulting in 10,636 listings. In contrast, New York metro area had the lowest YoY percentage change, with a marginal increase of just 0.2%, resulting in a New Listings count of 32,589. Other metro areas also saw significant YoY increases. Houston, Denver, and Miami metro areas recorded increases in YoY percentage change ranging from 20.3% to 18.8%. Atlanta and Seattle metro areas both increased by 18.7%, while the Austin metro area rose by 18.5%. Both the Los Angeles and Dallas metro areas also saw a 16.0% rise. Philadelphia, Washington, Chicago, and Boston metro areas experienced more modest growths of 7.6%, 7.0%, 7.0%, and 6.6%, respectively.
